Gangtok

Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim has emerged as one of the best tourist destinations in India. More and more tourist visits this little Himalayan state for its various places of tourist's interest and pleasant climate. Gangtok is located in the Shivalik Hills of the eastern Himalayan range.

Gangtok fully studded with green and white peaks have some major tourists attractions.

Deer Park: This park has a majestic view of the hills around it. The park was established in the later half of the 50s and it is also called as the Rustomji park.

Park Ridge : This park is a small expantion of plain and flat road above the town of Gangtok.

Tashi View Point : It is situated 4 km from Gangtok town. This site offers a enthralling panorama of the majestic Mt. Khangchendzonga and surrounding hills.

Himalayan Zoological Park : Located exactly across the road opposite Ganesh Tok, the Himalayan Zoological Park is also called as Bulbuley. The park is the home to the red pandas, barking deer, bears and other animals.

Gangtok is packed with a very pleasant temperature throughout the year. The best time to visit Gangtok is March to June and September to December. This town is approachable by all means.
