Valliyoorkavu temple is located high in the Wayanad Hills at Valliyoorkkavu. The temple is dedicated to goddess Bhagavathy.

Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1973.

Banasura Dam is 15 kms far from north west of Kalpetta. This dam is the largest earth dam in India. With the crystal clear water the dam looks awesome. Now its an ideal picnic spot.

Peermade hill station

Peermade hill station in Kerala is considered as a summer retreat of the Maharajas of Travancore. This cool hill resort rejuvenates the mind, body and the soul.
